Member of the European Parliament and President of the Scottish National Party Ian Hudghton will make a campaign visit to Banffshire & Buchan Coast this Saturday when he will be canvassing in support of SNP candidate Stewart Stevenson in Boddam.
Speaking in advance of his visit, Ian Hudghton said:
“Stewart recorded the biggest majority of any MSP in the country at the 2007 election in the old Banff & Buchan constituency which is a reflection of his hard work and diligence on behalf of his constituents.
“Indeed, he has just passed his milestone 700th surgery for constituents since he was elected in 2001, making him one of the most accessible MSPs. As a Minister in the first ever SNP Government, Stewart gained a reputation for having a knowledge of his brief second to none.
“It is my pleasure to be supporting such a hard-working and well-respected candidate as Stewart.”
Mr Hudghton will also be holding a surgery for constituents on Saturday at 10.00am at Longhaven Public Hall and anyone wishing to raise issues or discuss matters with their MEP is welcome. No appointment is necessary.
